B.Tech in Civil Engineering
The Department of Civil Engineering at Jyothi Engineering College (Autonomous), Cheruthuruthy was established with the objective of providing quality technical education and nurturing competent civil engineering professionals. The department commenced the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) programme in Civil Engineering in the year 2012.
The programme currently has an approved annual intake of 30 students. The department focuses on building a strong foundation in core civil engineering subjects while providing practical exposure through laboratories, workshops, industrial visits, and project-based learning.
With the support of qualified faculty and well-equipped laboratories, the department equip students with the necessary technical knowledge, analytical skills, and professional ethics required to address real-world engineering challenges. The department also encourages students to participate in technical activities, seminars, and industry interactions to enhance their overall academic and professional development.
